If you fancy yourself a bit of a chef, this story might blow you out of the water.
Leslie Hottiaux is originally from France but has been in New Zealand for six years and later this year, she'll be representing the Pacific at the World Young Chef competition in Milan.
Not only did Ms Hottiaux beat a bunch of Australians and a fellow Kiwi for the position, but she's also the first ever female to represent the Pacific in this competition.
Her signature dish is mushroom gnocchi tortellini, which she has been refining in her Auckland restaurant, and Story went to give a helping hand.
Although to be honest, we were probably more of a hindrance rather than a help.
