Q: What percentage of New Zealanders can speak Māori?
A: Just 3.7 percent of people in Aotearoa can have a conversation about everyday things in Māori. That means 96.3 percent of us cannot speak Te Reo Māori. Eighteen percent of Māori can speak Te Reo, and just 0.63% of non-Māori.
