Police still can't say what happened to a woman who was taken to Nelson Hospital on Thursday night with serious injuries.
They're investigating whether it was linked to a reported crash on Jenner Road at about 10.30pm.

Shortly after they were called to Nelson hospital where a woman was being treated for serious injuries.
Police cordoned off Jenner Road between Totara and Murphy Streets this morning and conducted a scene examination of the area in which the crash was reported.
A Nelson Hospital spokesperson said the woman is in the intensive care unit in a serious condition. She wouldn't comment on the nature of the woman's injuries but said she was brought in at about 10.30pm. She told Newshub the woman's family had asked for privacy.
The cordons on Jenner Road were lifted at about 1pm, after the fire service had hosed down the area where the crash had been reported.
Chalk had been used to mark where cars were parked, and the road was wet but there weren't any other signs of an incident.
One neighbour Newshub spoke to, who didn't want to be named, said she heard shouting near her house at about 10pm last night, but she couldn't tell if it was a man or a woman.
She listened to see if the shouting continued in case she had to call police, but said it was quiet after that.
People commenting on Nelson Facebook pages describe seeing a lot of police in the area on Friday morning, and small orange road cones laid out on the street.
Shortly after the cordons lifted a young man was seen sprinting down Jenner Road with a plain-clothes police officer running behind him. He was handcuffed and taken away in a police car.
Police say the arrest was unrelated to last night's incident.
