The head of Fullers Ferries says it's too early to determine if one of their vessels was at fault during a collision.
The Seaflight Ferry crashed into a wooden pleasure boat on Sunday evening on the way to Bayswater on Auckland's North Shore. No one was hurt in the collision.
Douglas Hudson says he has confidence in the company's safety processes.
"It's been investigated both internally in our business, and also we've notified Maritime New Zealand who will decide on the course of their own investigation."
A spokesperson for Maritime New Zealand says they're looking into what caused the collision.
