Julian Apse might well qualify for a 'best dad' award after sliding downhill on his back to give his son and daughter a ride they won't soon forget during Wednesday's spring snowfall in Queenstown.
Seven-year-old Lucia and nine-year-old George had a great time on the 'dad sled' at their Dalefield property.
