One person is in hospital after a serious crash with a tree in Auckland.
Emergency services are at the scene on East Tamaki Rd, Ōtara, after the crash at around 7:40pm on Monday.
Fire crews were forced to cut the person out of their vehicle in order to free them.
They were taken to Middlemore Hospital in a serious to critical condition.
