A baby has been treated for smoke inhalation following a large blaze at a property in west Auckland.
Emergency services were notified of the fire on Fruitvale Rd, New Lynn, just after 6:30am on Thursday.
They arrived to find the fire "well-involved", having spread to the garage, but all the occupants outside.
Thirteen fire crews were at the scene still trying to put the flames out at 7:30am.

"As far as we're aware, we haven't been notified it's affected any other properties," fire service spokeswoman Karen Larkin told Newshub.
It's not known if the property had smoke alarms installed. A fire investigator is at the scene.
"Once it's cleared, she can go through and have a look, and determine where the fire started and whether it had smoke alarms," said Ms Larkin.
The fire is not being treated as suspicious.
It comes a day after a large fire broke out at the LynnMall shopping complex, only a few blocks away.
