Lotto's record must-win $44 million jackpot has been won.
The numbers were 3, 21, 22, 1, 30, 29, bonus ball 5, and the Powerball number was 6.
The winning ticket was sold in Dairy Flat, north of Auckland, at Dairy Flat Food Mart and Liquor.
"With the largest jackpot ever on offer in New Zealand, Kiwis had even more to play for this week," says Lotto New Zealand general manager of corporate communications Emilia Mazur.
"People love to imagine what they would do if they won Powerball, and now one lucky player is about to find out."
There were also 14 winning tickets for Lotto First Division, giving each a $66,667 share. Those tickets were sold in Auckland, Te Awamutu, Wairoa, Napier, Masterton, Christchurch and online to a winner in Canterbury.
Another lucky winner will take home a $358,175 Strike jackpot. The winning Strike ticket was sold at Royal Oak Mall Lotto in Auckland.
Lotto says more than 2.3 million tickets were sold for Wednesday's draw.
Ms Mazur says anyone who bought a winning ticket should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet or on the MyLotto website.
