A body has been discovered in the Waikato River.
Police say a kayaker came across the body at around 7pm on Tuesday while paddling near Ann St, Hamilton.
They are now working to recover the body.
Enquiries will be made to determine the circumstances around the death.
Police have not released any further information at this time.
