The tourism boom continues with a record number of visitors to New Zealand in 2016 and a bunch of Kiwis holidaying overseas.
Almost 3.5 million people came to New Zealand, up 12 percent on the previous year, setting a new record.
More than half of those visitors were holidaymakers coming to New Zealand, with the other half made up of people travelling for business and immigrants.
Kiwis also liked to travel last year. The number taking overseas trips or holidays hit 2.62 million - that's also a record.
And while we are talking records, there was one more - 70,600 more migrants came in than departed.
The number of student visas issued has dropped, but that was more than offset by the number of people arriving on work visas.
