In their search for a West Coast woman missing since Christmas Eve, police are urging anyone in a white car who travelled in the area to come forward.

West Coast Police say Shelley Crooks was last seen hitchhiking on State Highway 6 on the morning of December 24.

"We're keeping an open mind as to where Shelley may be, and we want to speak to these people to find out whether they can help us, or eliminate them from our continued inquiries," says Detective Sergeant Kirsten Norton.

We're also appealing to Shelley herself to come forward, either to Police, or to family or friends. We just want to know you're okay."

They're particularly interest in anyone who was in a white 1980s or 1990s four-door sedan travelling along Coast Rd near Westport on Christmas Eve.

It was discovered that Ms Crooks' last eftpos transaction was at a campground she was staying at before her disappearance.

Anyone with information is asked to contact West Coast Police on (03) 768 2611.
