The jury in the Scott Kuggeleijn rape trial has found him not guilty.
It took them just over an hour to reach their verdict at the Hamilton District Court on Friday.
The 25-year-old Northern Districts cricketer was accused of pinning himself down upon a 22-year-old woman and engaging in sexual intercourse without her consent.
It was alleged he raped the woman at her Hamilton flat in May 2015. They met at a mutual friend's party the night before.
While consensual kissing and intimate touching occurred, the woman maintains she said "no" to having sex.
Kuggeleijn says she did not say "no".
