One person has died and at least 10 others have been injured after a serious crash on State Highway 8 near Roxburgh.
The crash occurred between a bus and a 4WD vehicle on Wednesday afternoon.
Authorities say at least three people have serious injuries and are being transported to Dunedin hospital.
Seven others are being transported to Roxburgh with moderate and minor injuires.
Emergency services have shut parts of the State Highway and say there are no diversions in place so motorists should expect extensive delays.
