A woman's been killed in Christchurch overnight in what police are treating as a homicide.
Police say they were called to the address in Avonhead just after midnight, where a scene guard remains in place Sunday morning.
A spokeswoman said nobody has been arrested, and they are investigating the death as a homicide.
She says more information is expecting to be released later this morning.
