A woman took a punch in the face during a robbery at a store in Murupura on Wednesday afternoon.
Three men, armed with pistols and a screwdriver, entered the Murupara General Store on Pine Dr at 3:30pm. They were disguised, one wearing a yellow scarf over his face.
A female staff member was punched in the face, and a male worker was also assaulted.
Both were treated by ambulance staff for minor injuries.
The offenders only managed to swipe cigarettes from behind the counter before running from the shop.
