A man's flamboyant appearance on TVNZ's Police Ten 7 has gone viral after his time in the limelight has been viewed more than 670,000 times on Facebook in just four days.
The video posted to Police Ten 7's Facebook page shows a drunk man doing his best to get on TV while filming in Hamilton.
"Should I pull a bag of meth out? I've got no meth on me but if I pulled a bag of sugar out would you put me on TV?" the man asked as he ran up to the camera crew.
His enthusiasm for the camera gets even more apparent when he approached a police officer.
"Can you arrest me?" he asks. "What if I hit you?"
He then ran away seemingly excited about his TV appearance.
"Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god I'm going to be on TV!"
The post has also had more than 24,000 likes.
