Kapiti Mana Police are asking the owner of a huge haul of cannabis to come forward, after it was found in Wellington.
"We've located a substantial amount of cannabis and would like to speak to its owner," the police said in a public Facebook post.
"If this is yours can you please get in touch with us."
One commenter responded: "Save it for the end of year Wellington District Police xmas party."
Said another: "It needs to be thoroughly destroyed by being rolled up in paper and burnt."
Many of the post's comments call for the legalisation of cannabis, or demand police focus on cracking down on synthetic drugs and methamphetamine.
No one has come forward as the owner.
