An Auckland jewellry store was robbed by armed offenders on Tuesday, and police have put a call out to the public to help locate them.
The Stoddard Rd store in Mt Roskill was robbed by four armed offenders on February 13 shortly before 1pm in the afternoon.
CCTV footage shows four disguised men violently breaking down the glass security doors and breaking into jewellery cabinets, before making off with a large amount of stolen goods.
Police believe they were accompanied by another offender outside the store, who may have been driving a stolen car that was later recovered.
Staff were in the store at the time of the incident and police say they were significantly traumatised by the attack.
"These offenders have committed an alarming attack in broad daylight while members of our community were going about their daily business," said detective senior sergeant Glenn Baldwin, Auckland City Crime Squad.
"The ordeal was frightening for the victims involved and those who were in the store at the time of the incident - it's very fortunate that no one was injured."
Police are also asking anyone who may have seen a dark green older model Toyota with the right rear passenger window covered with tape near Valonia Reserve to get in touch.
Anybody with information should contact Det Snr Sgt Baldwin on (09) 302 6557, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
