The way an Auckland man has passed time while sitting in traffic has seen him go viral.
Maureece Waata uploaded a pair of videos to his Facebook of a "traffic prank", featuring him driving down Auckland roads telling fellow drivers their keys were stuck in their car door.

- Auckland's Waterview Connection cracks 2 million vehicles in a month
Obviously, that can't be the case because Mr Waata's fellow motorists cars are on and they're driving them - but many still bothered to check to roars of laughter.
Many victims of the prank didn't see the funny side, instead getting upset with Mr Waata.
"This is the only thing that makes sitting in Auckland traffic somewhat fun," the Aucklander captioned the video.
It has since been shared by thousands and had nearly half a million views.
