A Jack Russell has been reunited with its owner after the vehicle it was in was stolen in Masterton.
The canine was in its owner's 2002 Toyota Caldina last Monday, when the car was stolen by a 33-year-old woman. She has since been arrested, Wairarapa Police confirmed.
The vehicle was recovered by police last week, but Yogi the Jack Russell terrier wasn't found until Sunday.

On Friday, police told Stuff they were actively looking for a woman by the name of Holly Danielle Taua in connection with the incident.
The police thanked the public for sharing their concerns for the dog's owner on social media.
The owner was very worried about the "much loved and friendly dog," a spokesperson said.
