Multiple people have been injured after a horror school bus crash in Auckland on Thursday.
Emergency services were called out at around 4pm to the Albany accident, which left two hospitalised.
"The crash involves two vehicles and a bus, which has gone off the road near The Avenues intersection on Dairy Flat Highway," a police spokesperson says.
"The bus is believed to be a school bus with around 15 students on board."
The driver of the bus and one of the vehicles involved were taken to hospital as a precaution.
The highway is currently blocked and diversions are being put in place while the bus is cleared.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area and expect delays while the cordons are in place.
