An epic school ball proposal in Auckland has gone viral on social media.
Michael, who attends Aorere College, in Papatoetoe, Auckland, planned a school ball proposal to his girlfriend that she'd never forget.
With the help of school mates, he planned a dance routine within just a few hours the night before, taking inspiration from the film Magic Mike.

Dancing to the song 'Pony' by R&B artist Ginuwine, on Wednesday, Michael performed the routine to his girlfriend in front of all his classmates, footage of the incident posted to Facebook shows.
The video, shared by Romayne DjLamonnz Isaaka, has racked up thousands of likes and has been viewed around 97,000 times since it was uploaded on Wednesday.
With some improvised dance moves, a bouquet of flowers, and a bottle of fancy chocolate milk, Michael got the "yes" he was hoping for from his girlfriend.
"If only boys like this went to high school when we did," one Facebook user wrote.
