Far-right Canadians Lauren Southern and Stefan Molyneux will be speaking in Auckland after all.
They told 1NEWS on Thursday that a venue has been found and their speaking event will be going ahead.
Promoter David Pellowe would not name the venue they intend to use.
"We will not be disclosing the venue and facing the same kind of bullying tactics from the mis-named Auckland Peace Action [group]".
He says a date for the event will be published online in the near future.
Only yesterday it was announced that the controversial event would not be going ahead, and Mr Pellowe says media reports of the cancellation were the first he had heard of it.
The Free Speech Coalition also confirmed it had withdrawn its urgent court action against Auckland Council.
Ms Southern and Mr Molyneux are well-known for their anti-Muslim beliefs as well as their opposition to immigration and feminism.
In 2017 Ms Southern was detained by the Italian coast guard after she tried to stop a boat from rescuing migrants from drowning in the ocean.
