New Zealand has made global headlines in recent days after Acting Prime Minister Winston Peters accused Australia of copying our flag and asked them to change it.
Former Prime Minister John Key's efforts to change our flag were not successful, and Australia is not likely to follow Mr Peters' advice.
So we're left with a flag that often gets mixed up with Australia's, but we should be reassured that we're far from the only nation with this problem.
Norway, Iceland, and Finland all have the same Nordic Cross flag but in varying colour schemes.
Chad and Romania have essentially the exact same blue, yellow, and red flag - except one of them has a slightly lighter shade of red.
Russia, Slovenia, Slovakia all have a blue, red, and white stripe - except Slovania and Slovakia each have a different coat of arms symbol.
Closer to home, Samoa has a very similar flag to Taiwan.
So maybe we don't have it so bad here in New Zealand.
