Fire and emergency services were called to a building fire in Tauranga Friday morning, and an investigation into the cause of the fire will soon commence.
Emergency crews were called to the scene at Mirrielees Road just after 11:30am where they found a workshop along with an adjoining office building on fire.
Crews quickly contained the fire to the two buildings using multiple deliveries and protecting adjacent buildings and acetylene cylinders, a statement from Port of Tauranga said.

The incident is currently at fourth alarm level, with more than 10 appliances and 45 firefighters on site.
The fire is now said to be under control and resources are starting to be released. There have been no injuries reported.
The cause at this stage is undetermined, but investigations will commence as soon as the fire is extinguished.
Port of Tauranga chief executive Mark Cairns says the emergency crews and port staff involved did an outstanding job of containing the large fire.
"We are very relieved that no one was hurt," he said.
The Tauranga Container Terminal remains closed to traffic but is expected to reopen within the next hour.
A spokesperson said earlier nearby buildings have been protected, and nobody was inside the workshop as the blaze broke out.
