A Hawke's Bay man has pleaded guilty to filming women showering in his homestay, then posting the videos of them to a porn site.
In February this year, police received a report from a person who had discovered that a video of them had been created without their knowledge and had been uploaded online.
"An investigation was immediately launched and subsequently a 36-year-old man was arrested in Hawke's Bay," Detective Sergeant Heath Jones from Hawke's Bay Police told Newshub.

The man appeared in the Hastings District Court on Thursday, and was granted name suppression on the grounds that his wife would suffer if his identity was released.
He pleaded guilty to multiple charges of making an intimate visual recording, knowingly making an objectionable publication, distributing an objectionable publication and publishing an intimate visual recording.
"Police acknowledge the guilty plea and continue to provide support to the victims, of which there are 34," Detective Jones said.
"As the matter is still before the courts, police are unable to comment further."
The man hid the cameras in shampoo bottles in the bathroom and shower, Stuff reports. He then activated and controlled the cameras via remote control.
It's understood the man would then post the footage to a pornographic site for viewers to watch.
He was granted bail and will be sentenced in October.
