One person has injuries and has been transported to Auckland Hospital following a serious crash on Auckland's northern motorway.
Police have now re-opened all the northbound lanes on the northern motorway, but traffic is still heavy in the area.
Police responded this afternoon to the crash on the northern motorway north of the Onewa Rd off-ramp where a vehicle rolled, according to a police statement.
The vehicle blocked all northbound lanes, with northbound traffic being diverted off the motorway at Onewa Rd.
The crash has caused significant traffic disruption and police have urged motorists to avoid the area if possible.
Video posted on Twitter earlier today by NZTA shows heavy traffic in the area heading to the Onewa Rd exit.
