An Auckland couple burst into a fit of hysterical laughter after finding out they had won $6.3 million in the Lotto Powerball on Saturday night.
The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, discovered he had hit the jackpot when he checked his emails on Sunday morning.

"I was having a Sunday morning lie-in when I noticed that I had an email from MyLotto in my inbox, which I thought was a bit unusual," the winner said.
"I turned to my wife and said, 'Hun, we've won $6000! Hold on a sec - we have all the numbers... what does that number say to you?'"
He handed his wife his laptop to double-check the ticket - which is when his wife realised he had hit the jackpot.
"I turned to him and said, 'That's not $6000 - that says $6 million'," the man's wife said.
After a brief period of disbelief, the reality kicked in and the couple burst into fits of laughter.
"Honestly, we couldn't stop giggling - we were hysterical. It was a moment of pure joy, we were absolutely fizzing," the winner said.
The couple went out for breakfast after their win and then went for a drive to decide what to do with their newfound fortune.
The pair say they plan to help out family and set their kids up for the future, but not without having some fun along the way.
The ticket was bought on LottoNZ's app, and is the second big Powerball win on the app in just over a week.
A 22-year-old man from Otago won $22.3 million last Wednesday - the largest Powerball prize ever won in the South Island.
