A bus was abandoned in Wellington overnight after the driver went up a road that was not part of the route.
The bus got stuck up Highbury Cres on Tuesday evening, a narrow street that is difficult to turn around in, the driver deciding it should be left overnight and moved the next morning.

The driver was not on duty at the time so there were no passengers on board, Stuff reports.
In a separate incident on Wednesday, a bus reportedly ran of fuel mid-journey in Karori and passengers had to get off.
"Here we are, in the largest suburb in New Zealand's capital city, kicked off a bus because it has 'run out of fuel'," @AstroPuss tweeted.
Earlier on Thursday, a bus hit a woman on Willis St. It is unclear how the incident occurred, but she sustained moderate injuries.
