A woman has been arrested over the kidnapping of an 87-year-old man in Hastings last month.
The elderly man was approached in a Countdown carpark in the suburb of St Leonards on July 28 by a group of offenders who forced him into the backseat of his own car.
He was driven to another Hastings suburb and forced to withdraw a large sum of money from his account.
The 35-year-old woman is due to appear in Hastings District Court today on charges of aggravated robbery and kidnapping.
