A Christchurch preschool teacher has denied 18 child sex abuse charges.
In the Christchurch District Court on Thursday, he was charged with indecently assaulting and sexually violating another alleged victim between 2013 and 2018.
He is currently not working, but is facing charges of indecently assaulting a girl under the age of 12 and sexually violating the same girl including raping her, Court News reports.
Some of the alleged offending dates back to 2004.
The man has been remanded on bail. His conditions include that he does not travel or apply for travel documents.
He is expected to reappear in November.
