A 14-year-old girl has died following a hit and run in Oamaru late on Tuesday night.
Police say the girl was hit by a car around 10:40pm on Severn St and the vehicle involved failed to stop. They're asking to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time or saw a dark coloured sedan travelling at speed.
Inquiries into the crash are on-going.
