A man has been seriously injured in a drive-by shooting in Stokes Valley, Lower Hutt.
The 21-year-old is in a serious but stable condition in hospital.
The shooter fired the weapon from a moving car, police said.
The incident reportedly happened about 2:30am.
The suspect is yet to be apprehended.
