A video of a group of men surfing in the wake of a ferry was posted online last weekend.
In a Youtube video posted on Sunday a group of men on foil boards rode the wake of a Sealink ferry travelling from Half Moon Bay to Waiheke Island.
The video, titled "No Wind No Waves Be Inventive," shows four men riding jet skis before approaching the ferry.
Passengers looked on as the group hitched a free ride to the popular island off Auckland's coast.
Sealink has not yet responded to request for comment.
