A truck has burst into flames on the Waikato Expressway.
Emergency services were called to the southbound lane of State Highway 1 near Huntly on Sunday morning.
A spokesperson for Fire and Emergency says there were no dangerous goods inside the truck and the driver is okay.
Diversions are in place.
There have been a number of fires and truck incidents this weekend. A truck rolled and caught fire in the Waioeka Gorge, near Opotiki, on Saturday morning. And on Friday night, a crane hit powerlines in New Plymouth, starting a blaze.
