Pranksters have taken to the streets of Devonport and flipped two signs around to face the wrong way.
The signs are close to popular tourist hot spot Ngatarina Park, and the change in directions has drawn attention from locals.

The intersection in question is Victoria Road and Abbotsford Terrace - but now the signs read in opposite directions.
Devonport residents are divided on whether the prank is funny or annoying.
"I think it's trying to tell us something," one commented on a post in the Devonport Locals Facebook Page. "It's a sign."
Another made a comical reference to mystery-solving kids' show Scooby Doo.
"I'm sorry everyone. But it was me! I would have gotten away with it as well, if it wasn't for you meddling kids!"
One resident said they had tried to turn it the signs around themselves, but required a ladder. They also said the prank could be disconcerting for non-locals.
It's unclear whether or not the local council is aware of the sign situation.
