A former flatmate of Grace Millane's alleged murderer describes him as an "aggressive" man.
The person, who Newshub agreed not to name, lived with the accused in Auckland. She told RadioLIVE on Tuesday that at first the man, who has name suppression, was "chatty" and "reasonably easy to live". But it wasn't long before alarm bells began to ring.

"[He had] a lot of stories that very quickly stopped making sense," she says.
"If you would ever question his stories he would become incredibly defensive."
She says his behaviour became more and more disturbing and described him as becoming "aggressive".
But the man's alleged behaviour didn't stop him meeting women.
"When he was living at our flat he was dating on Tinder and he definitely was very active - a few dates a week," she says.
"There were definitely girls coming home."
The flatmates decided they need to ask him to leave when fortunately he moved out on his own, owing them rent money.
She says the news her former flatmate allegedly killed Ms Millane left her "shocked".
"I felt sick all day. It's horrifying to me," she told RadioLIVE.
"I honestly just feel sick that that's what she went through."
Police are still appealing for information, and the flatmate has a message to the public - please come forward if you know anything.
"There are things that have happened since then [flatting] that people know about and need to come forward about because Grace can't have been the first that has had a bad experience with him."
Anyone with information is asked to call the Police 0800 number on 0800 676 255.
