The video shows two groups of people physically lunging at each other and fighting in the doorway of an Auckland Transport train.
Security staff are quick to step in and a Māori warden placed herself between the two fighting groups to separate them.
Eventually security staff managed to get the door shut, separating the brawlers into two groups.
Māori wardens volunteer their services in the community to provide support, traffic, security, crowd control and first aid.
Wardens are often seen riding trains in Auckland city.
