A woman has been flown to Auckland Hospital with potentially life threatening injuries after she was trapped under a tractor on Motuihe Island in Auckland's Hauraki Gulf.
Emergency services were alerted to the incident at 12:30pm on Friday.
The woman sustained serious leg injuries which could be potentially life threatening an Auckland Rescue Helicopter spokesperson told Newshub.
Six firefighters were flown over to the island with equipment to cut the woman free.
