A pedestrian has been hit by a car in Wellington.
Emergency services were called to the crash on Karo Dr near the Terrace Tunnel at 7:35am on Thursday.
The pedestrian has serious injuries.
The road is closed and there will be delays. Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
