Police are in a stand-off with a woman on a rooftop of a residential property in Auckland following a reported pursuit.
Police issued a statement at 1.50pm to say that the issue has now been resolved, and the woman is in police custody.
She was on the roof of a house in the suburb of Mangere Bridge, where she was reportedly talking on a mobile phone.
Residents told NZME that armed police and officers with dogs were on scene.
Before saying the issue was resolved, a police spokesperson had confirmed officers were on scene and talking to the woman.
Earlier reports were that the suspect was male, but police later confirmed it was a woman.
