A man has been shot and taken to Auckland Hospital in a critical condition.
Police were called at 5:40am to an address on the corner of Waterfront Rd and Coronation Rd in Mangere.
A witness told Newshub they heard two shots being fired before seeing a crowd scatter on Coronation Rd.
Police are aware of the offender's vehicle registration number, and are making inquiries.
