Max Key has packed his bags and headed off for an OE with plans to travel to North America, Europe and Africa.
The son of former Prime Minister John Key posted a message on Instagram, along with a photo of him with his parents, saying he will go on "the adventure of a lifetime".

"Today is finally the day. I've officially quit my job (believe it or not I actually had one the whole time), packed my bags, tidied my room (for you mum) and am set for the adventure of my lifetime," the 23-year-old wrote.
"I'm excited, nervous and ready to take on the world."
Key said he is looking forward to getting away from the pressure he feels in New Zealand, and will teach himself to be happy with his own company.
He said he will document his adventures on social media.
