Fisher and Paykel is a household name to us all, whether it's the logo on the dishwasher, or washing machine or the latest kids' toy.
John Bongard was the head of that very company, leaving in 2009 after a monumental 36-year career to beat cancer and spend more time giving back to his family and also his community.
Since then he's helped hundreds of Kiwis.
