A teenager has been arrested in connection with an alleged violent attack in south Auckland last week.
"After school today three students on their way home were violently and randomly attacked by a group of six young men," Davida Suasua, principal of Tangaroa College in Otara, said on May 30.
"These six young men were not students of Tangaroa College."
Police on Saturday said they have arrested an 18-year-old man.
"Two students were injured and a vehicle was damaged during the incident," said Insp Chris Barry. "The man has been charged with possession of an offensive weapon and intentional damage."
He'll appear in the Manukau District court on Tuesday.
