A huge traffic jam has taken over Auckland central after a crash in the Victoria Park Tunnel.
The crash occurred around 12:20pm and has blocked one lane of the tunnel headed north towards the Auckland Harbour Bridge.

"Please take extra care while passing and expect significant DELAYs [sic]," the New Zealand Transport Agency wrote on Twitter shortly after the crash.
It updated the situation 20 minutes later to warn motorists queues into the tunnel were stretching back to Newmarket, around 5km away.
Saturday is a bad day for such an incident to occur - the school holidays end on Monday and the roads are likely filled with families headed home before the next term begins.
