Armed robbers reportedly put a knife to a man's neck during a robbery at Subway in the Hawke's Bay town of Waipukurau on Sunday.
Two men wearing black masks entered the restaurant armed with a knife and a hammer about 8:15pm on Sunday, and demanded money, a police spokesperson told Newshub.

They left on foot with a small amount of cash.
A worker described the robbers as "young men", NZME reports, and says they were wearing black clothing.
"They shoved me to the ground and put a knife to my neck," Kunal Madaan said.
No-one was injured in the incident and police inquiries are continuing, the spokesperson said.
"They were ready to kill anyone for $400," Madaan told NZME.
