National MP Simeon Brown was shocked by a near-miss involving a bus and some children in Auckland, and posted horrifying dashcam footage.
The footage, posted to Twitter by Brown, reportedly happened in east Auckland - at the intersection of Pakuranga and Cascades Rd.
It shows the bus nearly hitting the children after running a red light.
"This dashcam footage - gave me goosebumps," Brown said on Twitter.
But Brown said he was told by Auckland Transport (AT) the images weren't clear enough to "establish which bus company operates the service you saw".
He told NZME it was disappointing, describing the response from AT as "unsatisfactory".
"This was very disappointing because it is an Auckland Transport bus and I would have thought they would have GPS."
AT confirmed it couldn't identify the bus driver.

"The time stamp on the video appears to be wrong, it says 22:49pm but it isn't dark," spokesman Mark Hannan told NZME.
"If anyone can identify the bus or the operator we will take the matter up with them."
