A blaze at a Christchurch primary school has been brought under control.
At least 18 firefighters were at the scene at Russley Primary School on Cutts Rd, as well as fire investigators, a Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesman told Newshub.
The school has been closed for the day and parents are being urged to keep kids away.
It broke out about 7am Tuesday, destroying at least two classrooms.
Another two classrooms have been damaged.
