As a huge fire continues to burn through the partially-built SkyCity convention centre, SkyCity and Fletcher Building have held a joint press conference.
Graeme Stephens, CEO of SkyCity Entertainment Group spoke to media alongside Ross Taylor, CEO of Fletcher Building Ltd.

The press conference began at 10am on Wednesday morning.
Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern will also fly to Auckland to meet with stakeholders later today.
The fire is expected to burn for at least another 10 hours. A number of buildings and facilities in the CBD have been closed as a safety precaution, including Auckland Art Gallery, the Central Library and the District Court.
